Boiler and Air Con Engineer in Daventry
Daventry and the villages out west are a regular patch for me. It's an easy drive along the A45, and there's a lot of good work out there in both new and old homes.

Daventry and the NN11 villages
Everything round here is NN11. In town that means the older streets near the High Street, the big 1970s estates at Southbrook, Ashby Fields and Grange, and the newer homes at Middlemore and Monksmoor. Out of town I go to Long Buckby, Weedon Bec, Braunston, Badby, Byfield and Welton.
Overspill estates and new builds
A lot of Daventry was built in the 60s and 70s as overspill housing, and many of those homes still have the original pipe layout with some odd runs. When I replace a boiler there I check the pipework and flue route properly so the new one runs right. The Middlemore and Monksmoor homes are newer, so the work is mostly servicing, the odd fault on system boilers and unvented cylinders, and air con for loft rooms.
Canal side and rural homes
Around Braunston and Weedon there are canal cottages and farmhouses where boilers sit in outbuildings or odd corners. Those need care with flues and frost protection, and I'll make sure it's all done to regs.
What to expect when I visit
I'll ring ahead if I'm running late, wear shoe covers and clear up after myself. For repairs I'll find the fault first and tell you the price before fitting any parts. On a new install I explain the controls and set the heating up to suit your routine, so you're not wasting gas heating an empty house during the day.

Can you check my unvented cylinder in Monksmoor?
Yes. Unvented cylinders should be checked every year by someone qualified. I can do it at the same visit as your boiler service.
Do you come out to Long Buckby and Byfield?
Yes, all the NN11 villages are covered for servicing, installs and repairs.
My Southbrook boiler is over 15 years old. Is it worth repairing?
Sometimes it is. If parts are still available and the rest is sound, a repair can make sense. If not, I'll give you a fair price on a new one and explain why.
