Areas around Kettering
The town itself takes in NN15 and NN16, with Barton Seagrave, Ise Lodge and Grange out to the east and the older streets around the town centre and Stamford Road. NN14 covers the villages like Rothwell, Desborough, Broughton and Cranford. Burton Latimer and Geddington are regular spots too.
Victorian terraces and big modern estates
Kettering has a real mix. Around the centre there are lots of Victorian and Edwardian terraces with cellars, high ceilings and radiators that struggle. Ise Lodge and Barton Seagrave are mostly 1980s and 90s homes, many with conventional boilers and a hot water tank in the airing cupboard. Plenty of people there ask me about going to a combi to free up space, and I'll tell you honestly if a combi suits your house or not.
Businesses on the edge of town
There are lots of warehouses, trade counters and offices along the A14 at Telford Way and Pytchley Lodge. I look after heating and air con for small commercial sites like these, including offices that overheat in summer.

Should I swap my Ise Lodge conventional boiler for a combi?
It depends on how many bathrooms you have and how much hot water you use. Smaller homes usually suit a combi. Bigger families often do better with a system boiler and cylinder. I'll talk it through with you.
Do you service boilers in Rothwell and Desborough?
Yes. Annual servicing across the NN14 villages is a big part of my week.
Can you cool an office in Kettering?
